The Planning Commission consists of five appointed members, serving on the commission for a four year term, who act as an advisory committee making recommendations to the Board of Supervisors in matters of subdivision, planning and land development as outlined in Ordinance No. 100, which is available for the public review. The Planning Commission meets on the first and third Thursday of each month. (The second meeting is only held if there are at least three items on the agenda.) Any person interested in obtaining a copy of Ordinance No. 100 may purchase the booklet in the Township Secretary’s office. The cost is $25.00 for a copy of Ordinance 100.
The Planning Commission meets on the first Thursday of each month (as long as there is someone on the agenda) and the third Thursday of the month (as long as three people are on the agenda).
Plans and payment must be submitted and received by the Thursday prior to the meeting. If plans/payment are not received by the Thursday 1 week prior to the meeting, the applicant will not be on the agenda for the following week.
To ensure that meetings run smoothly, there will not be any collection of payments during the public meetings.
